Sarah Schönfeld

Looking for art for my client, i remembered the work of Sarah Schönfeld which impressed me a lot. This is what she says:
"Wende Gelände is my photographic record of important places from my childhood that fell into decay as a result of the Wende [the collapse of communist East Germany and the creation of a unified German state] and the subsequent structural changes.."

Blogliebster

awarded me with Blogliebster. Thank you Carla, and happy birthday! I am happy to pass it on, one at a time. The first one goes to Marina van Goor. I have posted several times about Marina, she is a talented designer and my dear friend.

Marina is working on this concept called, Pop-up restaurant Sartre, so follow her blog to see when and where this restaurant will pop-up!
This cabinet, called Until Sunrise, is restored and painted with glow in the dark. The picture is taken in her hallway against a black wall, by night. It's magical. Take a good look, you will see Marina as well.

The Liebsteraward is given to blogs with less than 200 followers. When you are given the award you: thank the one who gave you the award & post a link, mention five blogs to forward the award to & let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.

CookBook

Some of my favourite pics from Janneke's cookbook 'Comfort Food'. Foodstyling by Ingmar Niezen and Ulrika Gustafsson, pictures by Sean Fitzpatrick.
Janneke and i go way back, secondary school, Au Pair in Brussels. We lived in the same dorm during university, where i experienced her cooking skills. Good food 24/7, midnight pasta with friends, making serious diner for our parents. If that wasn't enough, at that time she dated a German guy, whose father had a Konditorei!
More about Janneke and her (Dutch) cookbooks on www.etenenzo.nl/comfort-food.

I admire the work of Piet Hein Eek for such a long time. Visiting his shop and restaurant in Eindhoven is high on my list, www.pietheineek.nl. Picture by Jeltje Janmaat.
