This post was long due! It is about Erik & Emilia and Are You Swedish? A few weeks ago I was invited by Are You Swedish? to a brunch offered by Visit Sweden and Are You Swedish?
Erik & Emilia, the two designers behind the Nordic brand E&E glasses held an inspiring presentation. I was immediately drawn to the personality of both Erik and Emilia, founders and owners: warm, smart people with a big passion and drive for their beautiful eyewear. They told us how the company started, about inspiration, quality, finding this small fabric in Italy where the glasses are made by hand. And the new ecofriendly collection. Erik & Emilia are inspired by nature, by Swedish Lapland, its mountains and northern lights. The pictures of nature take your breath away and you immediately get it.
It did a lot to me, this presentation. It hit me once again that you have to follow your heart and passion. I enjoyed talking to Erik & Emilia about the identity of the brand, the quality, being authentic. The same goes for Are You Swedish? This agency represents very cool Swedish brands and has the same power, drive and warmth, combining passion for beauty with a great sense of business.
